Contracts and receivables

Out-of-court debt collection

Assessing the claim, negotiating with the debtor and out-of-court collection.

I’m interested in this service

Unpaid invoices strain both cash flow and business relationships. The sooner a claim is dealt with, the better the chance of it being paid.

We assess the claim, propose a course of action and carry out out-of-court collection — making sure the claim does not become time-barred.

What we take care of

  • Analysis of the claim and supporting documents
  • Assessing the debtor’s situation
  • Payment demands and negotiation with the debtor
  • Debt acknowledgements and instalment plans
  • Protecting the claim against limitation
  • Ongoing overview of the status of your claims

Who the service is for

  • Companies with unpaid invoices
  • Entrepreneurs who want to handle receivables systematically
  • Companies with a larger number of receivables

How we work together

  1. Assessing the claim

We review the documents, amount and due date of the claim as well as the debtor’s situation.

  2. Proposed approach

We propose a collection strategy and agree the terms of our cooperation.

  3. Out-of-court collection

We contact the debtor, negotiate payment and, where appropriate, prepare an instalment agreement.

  4. Next steps

If the out-of-court route is not enough, we propose and arrange the next steps.

We handle the entire process for you — from preparing the documents to registration. All you do is review and sign.

The outcome of collection depends on the circumstances of each case and on the debtor, so it cannot be guaranteed in advance.

Frequently asked questions

When should I start collecting a debt?

As soon as possible after the due date. Over time, the risk that the debtor will be unable to pay increases, as does the risk of limitation.
